Asia Broadcast Satellite (ABS) has announced the appointment of Felix Damiba as the Managing Director of Africa. In this newly created position, Damiba will be responsible for business development and managing sales and operations for the African market.

He will be responsible for business development, sales, and project and service management. Damiba was the sales director at Comtech EF Data and has a strong track record for both commercial and government clients for the African region. He also held various positions in sales and engineering with Intelsat and was the CTO of National Telecommunications of Burkina Faso. Damiba holds an MBA from Loyola College in Maryland, and a Master of Science in electronics and telecommunications engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Bucharest.
