Avanti Communications has announced the appointment of Chris van Rooyen as its new Sales Director.
The industry veteran will support the company’s growing footprint in South Africa by combining his in-depth market understanding with Avanti’s vision for South African telco convergence.
Rooyen will support the company’s mission to provide accessible and affordable connectivity and will spearhead the growth of Avanti’s enterprise sales and services in the region, in addition to driving new business development.
Avanti opened its first African office in South Africa in 2018 and is now focused on creating more local employment opportunities across the country.

Prior to joining Avanti, Chris held a decade-long role at Liquid Intelligent Technologies.
