Phoenix Contact Middle East and IIPD have unveiled the PLCnext Technology course, in collaboration with Phoenix Contact, marking a significant advancement in PLC education. Tailored for industry professionals and university students, this course offers hands-on experience with next-generation PLC technology and is the first-of-its-kind to be approved by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) in the United Arab Emirates. Moreover, Phoenix Contact Middle East is poised to extend its reach to Saudi Arabia in the coming months.
The “PLCnext Technology” course revolves around Phoenix Contact’s next-generation PLC, delving into Industrial Information and Communication Technology (Industrial ICT). Catering to a diverse audience, including end users, systems integrators, asset owners, young professionals, and graduates, the course promises extensive hands-on experience with the PLCnext platform, equipping participants with invaluable skills and insights into the latest advancements in industrial automation.

The course modules cover a wide range of topics, including understanding IIoT technology and remote access for industrial field systems, the benefits of implementing remote data acquisition, alarms and data logging, managing and integrating remote data in the cloud, and visualising field data.
