Orange Jordan elects new Chairman of Board of Directors

Raslan Deiranieh has been elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of Jordan Telecom Company – Orange Jordan.

Deiranieh brings 25 years of experience to the role, having significantly contributed to Orange Jordan’s financial and strategic milestones. He previously served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial and Strategy Officer, working closely with the executive team to achieve notable successes for the company.

Deiranieh’s journey with Jordan Telecom Company began in 1998, following his tenure at the Central Bank of Jordan. His career progression saw him play a pivotal role in establishing Orange Jordan as a major telecommunications and digital services provider both locally and regionally, in line with the vision of His Majesty King Abdullah II. His strategic leadership has been evident throughout his career, as he has served on the boards of various local and regional corporations.

Currently, Deiranieh is a member of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Jordan and the Jordan Association of Management Accountants (JAMA), and he serves as Chairman of E-Dimension Company. He has also been a board member of Safwa Islamic Bank and Jordan Data Communications Company and has chaired Light Speed Company in Bahrain and Petra Mobile Payment Services Co.

Deiranieh holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Jordan (1992) and a certificate in Financial Management and Control from ESCP Business School (2008). He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Computer Science with honours from Yarmouk University (1985), where he was recognised for his academic excellence and received an award for outstanding graduates.
