Arabsat to present Badr-7 at IBC

Arabsat will present services of its Badr-7 satellite, scheduled to be launched by the end of 2015. It will also showcase three planned satellites for future launches

Arabsat will be showcasing services of Badr-7 and future satellites at IBC this year.

Khalid Bin Ahmed Balkheyour, President and CEO of Arabsat said: “Arabsat will present services of its Badr-7 satellite, scheduled to be launched by the end of 2015.Arabsat will also showcase its three new planned satellites, whose contracts were signed earlier this year.”

He added: “The first satellite is Hellsat-3 at the orbital position 39-degrees East, the second( Hellas-Sat-4/SaudiGeoSat-1 ) is (Hellas-Sat-4 / SaudiGeoSat-1) a joint satellite with King Abdul Aziz City for Science and Technology, that will also operate at the orbital position 39-degrees East. While the third Satellite is 6-A at Arabsat orbital position 30.5-degrees East which would support the competitive position of Arabsat as the first satellite provider of the satellite services and capacities in the Arab and African neighborhood.”
