Lockheed Martin CEO to speak at Abu Dhabi Global Aerospace Summit

Marillyn Hewson, Chairman, President, and CEO of Lockheed Martin will speak at the Global Aerospace Summit 2018 on how the aerospace and defense industry serves as a catalyst for global security, international cooperation, and economic growth.

Hewson will highlight some of Lockheed Martin’s strategic partnerships to grow the UAE’s domestic manufacturing capacity and equip young people with the skills needed to compete in the 21st century.

“The aerospace and defense industry is uniquely positioned to help strengthen national defense and economic security through the shared development of technologies,” Hewson said.

“I look forward to returning to Abu Dhabi to once again attend the Global Aerospace Summit to discuss how Lockheed Martin is partnering with the UAE to expand its economy, create high-tech jobs, and promote opportunities in science and technology that will support long-term peace and prosperity.”

The Global Aerospace Summit is an exclusive, invitation-only event for C-level executives, senior decision makers and government officials involved with the aerospace, aviation, defence and space industries. The 2018 edition, the fourth in this biennial series, will take place on 30th April to 1st May at the St. Regis hotel on Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi.
