Kleos Space S.A, a space-enabled, activity-based intelligence, data as a service (DaaS) company, has announced that it has entered into a commercial channel partner agreement with L3Harris Technologies to market the Kleos Space product suite to government agencies in the USA.

L3Harris will place the Kleos product suite on their GSA Earth Observation Solutions (EOS) Schedule and will collaborate with Kleos Space to prepare and present mission scenario demonstrations to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.

GSA Schedule contracts are long term pre-agreed contracts which US Government Agencies and other governmental bodies can purchase from the provider in a streamlined process, with the knowledge that the terms are already broadly satisfactory to the US Government. Being placed on this schedule makes the process for governmental organisations and institutions to acquire the Kleos data product much quicker and far more likely.

Commenting on the partnership, Andy Bowyer, CEO, Kleos said: “The valuable data Kleos Space provides will allow mission-critical geospatial solutions to be offered across the US defence community.”

According to the company, Kleos sees itself as a “DaaS company that guards borders, protects assets and saves lives by delivering a unique global activity-based intelligence and geolocation product for public and private sector customers, from US defence contractors, government national security and intelligence agencies, through to the asset protection sectors.

With decades of experience delivering mission-critical technologies to the U.S. Intelligence Community and geospatial intelligence customers, L3Harris partners with agencies to collect, process, manage, analyse, and deliver data for mission success.

GSA Schedule Contracts are the most widely used US Government Contract accounting for $45bn in annual sales, they provide access to additional bid opportunities and provide a shorter, simplified sales process.

A GSA Schedule Contract can be used to sell to hundreds of federal customers, including: Federal and Executive Agencies, Department of Defence (DOD) and all Civilian Agencies, Government Owned Corporations and Various Institutions and International Organizations.
