Andrew Pons to head global sales at Exset

New position to boost Digital Monetisation System sales across emerging markets

Exset, pioneers of pay-TV ecosystems for emerging markets, has appointed Andrew Pons as its Global Director of Sales and Marketing.

Pons has been with Exset for nearly two years as the company has established itself and its Digital Monetisation System (DMS) across emerging markets. His new role will help push the company across its next growth phase as its DMS and CAS solutions continue to be deployed across Asia, the Indian Subcontinent, Africa and Eastern Europe.

Pons has numerous years’ experience in the TV business and previously as director of international marketing with Pace. Prior to that he has was director of sales and marketing at SysMedia and Electronic Farm and sales director at Harris.

DMS reportedly bridges the gap between technology and value-added services, creating digital TV platforms that can be monetised where previously impossible. This allows populations to benefit from new information and entertainment services while partnering governments achieve digital switchover bringing about social transformation.
