Arab Academy for Science delegation visits Egyptian Space Agency

During the visit, the Arab academy delegation reviewed the activities and achievements of the space agency, while Al-Quosy presented EgSA technical projects.

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) President Ismail Abdel Ghafar along with a delegation visited the Egyptian Space Agency (EgSA) on September 7.

Ghafar met Egyptian Space Agency CEO Mohammed Al-Quosy, as well as other officials including Mohamed Khalil, EgSA Deputy Executive Director, Sherif Battisha, EgSA Technical Advisor, and a group of EgSA professors and advisors.

During the visit, the Arab academy delegation reviewed the activities and achievements of the space agency, while Al-Quosy presented EgSA technical projects. Further, Ghafar discussed EgSa and AASTMT’s various methods of cooperation.

Al-Quosy talked about specialised devices used in the implementation of space projects and also confirmed the possibility of participation of AASTMT students in a summer training in the field of space, equipment and satellites.

A co-operational agreement was also announced with different universities and institutions that promote discussion and exchange of experiences in areas of mutual interest.
