Arabsat and Divona offer connectivity for Algerian rally

 The Sahari International Challenge is a cross-country sports event that takes place over an area of 3300 km, including 2100 tracks and dunes. The event brings together 127 competitors.

Arabsat and its long-term Algerian telecom partner Divona successfully provided high-speed broadband connectivity for the fourth edition of the cross-country Algerian rally, the Sahari International Challenge, which was held from November 1-8, 2018.

Speaking about Arabsat’s involvement, Wael AlButi, VP and CCO at Arabsat said: “Arabsat provided these services as part of our commitment to offer satellite connectivity in Algeria, where broadband connectivity can not only strengthen such events but also ensure economic growth.”
