Arabsat to unveil details of MENA satellite TV penetration study during webinar

The study titled 'Al Madar Facts & Figures: Satellite TV Penetration Study 2020' will be analysed as part of the webinar.

MENA satellite operator Arabsat will unveil details of a recent study it undertook about satellite penetration in the MENA market as part of a special webinar that will be moderated by renowned journalist Chris Forrester on Wednesday, April 7, from 12 noon to 2 PM, Riyadh time (GMT +3).

Titled Al Madar Facts & Figures: Satellite TV Penetration Study 2020, the study looks at some of the key findings by Arabsat and research analyst Ipsos. Conducted with a multi-pronged objective to assess the viewing needs and behaviours of MENA audiences, the study will be analysed in greater detail as part of the webinar.

One key finding in the study was that satellite continues to remain the strongest mode of content distribution in the region, with 93% total market share, despite the accelerated uptake of IPTV and streaming services in MENA. More details will be revealed exclusively at the webinar on April 7.
