OQ Technology has entered into a strategic partnership with UK-based IoT connectivity specialist Eseye to deliver seamless, worldwide 5G Internet of Things connectivity. The agreement combines satellite and terrestrial networks to ensure reliable, always-on connectivity for IoT devices, including in remote and hard-to-reach locations.
The collaboration integrates OQ Technology’s Low Earth Orbit satellite constellation with Eseye’s AnyNet Connectivity Hub, creating a single connectivity ecosystem supported by one SIM solution. This unified approach allows IoT devices to remain connected continuously, even in environments where terrestrial networks are unavailable or unreliable.
Built on the 3GPP Release 17 standard, the partnership extends multi–Radio Access Technology connectivity into non-terrestrial networks, enabling IoT devices to automatically switch between cellular and satellite coverage. This capability delivers uninterrupted global 5G IoT services for enterprises operating across land, sea and air.
Omar Qaise, Founder and ChiefExecutive Officer of OQ Technology, said: “Our partnership with Eseye marks another significant step toward OQ Technology’s vision of making 5G IoT fully global,” said Omar Qaise, Founder and CEO of OQ Technology. “By integrating our 5G-ready LEO satellite constellation with Eseye’s intelligent connectivity platform, we enable seamless coverage everywhere on the planet, from remote deserts and offshore platforms to polar regions. This collaboration delivers the reliability and scalability industries need to unlock the full potential of IoT.”
OQ Technology’s satellites operate in S-band spectrum, offering low-latency and high-reliability connectivity tailored for IoT and machine-to-machine applications. This satellite capability complements Eseye’s extensive terrestrial network partnerships, ensuring consistent data transmission across both network layers.
Adam Hayes, COO at Eseye commented: “Our collaboration with OQ Technology is all about delivering value to customers. By combining satellite and terrestrial connectivity, we’re removing the complexity and limitations of global IoT deployments. This partnership ensures businesses can stay connected anywhere, unlocking new opportunities and accelerating innovation for our customers worldwide.”
Hayes added: “This collaboration opens new opportunities for industries such as maritime, logistics, energy, mining, agriculture, and environmental monitoring, which depend on uninterrupted data flows for safety, efficiency, and sustainability.”
Omar Qaisestated: “Together, OQ Technology and Eseye are redefining what it means to be connected — enabling a seamless, resilient, and global IoT ecosystem that supports innovation and growth without geographic limits.”
