Comtech receives $6.0 million funding from DoD contractor

Telecom solutions provider's Command and Control Technologies group secures order to provide Managed Network Services for the fourth year in a row to DOD contractor.

Telecom solutions provider Comtech Telecommunications has announced that during its Q4 of fiscal 2018, its Command and Control Technologies group received $6.0 million in funded orders from a Department of Defence (DoD) contractor to provide Managed Network Services. The Command and Control Technologies is part of the company’s Government Solutions segment.

Speaking about the deal, Fred Kornberg, President and Chief Executive Officer of Comtech Telecommunications said: “This is the fourth year we have been providing managed network services to our partner. These services provide our customer with mission-critical communications in austere environments.”

The Command & Control Technologies group is a provider of mission-critical, highly-mobile C4ISR solutions.

Comtech Telecommunications designs, develops, produces and markets products, systems and services for advanced communications solutions. The company sells products to its customer base in the global commercial and government communications markets.
