Es’hailSat — the Qatar Satellite Company — has named Raghid Shanti as its new Acting Executive Director. The announcement was made by Shanti himself in a recent social media post, where he expressed enthusiasm for guiding the company through its next phase of growth with a focus on operational excellence, innovation and customer-centric satellite solutions.
Shanti’s appointment follows a career of leadership roles within the industry; he has previously been identified as a senior sales manager at Es’hailSat, involved in driving market penetration and customer engagement. In announcing his new role, Shanti emphasised that the milestone reflects not only his personal career progression but also the collective efforts of mentors, colleagues and teams that have supported him, and he pledged to lead with integrity, focus and collaboration.
Es’hailSat has been actively strengthening its service portfolio and partnerships across the MENA region. In recent years, the company renewed and upgraded a multi-transponder agreement with beIN Media Group to provide expanded satellite capacity and support via Es’hail-2, underscoring continued demand for premium broadcast and connectivity services.
