ETL to bring Stingray to Cabsat

Visitors to the ETL stand will be able to see ETL’s RF over Fibre solutions, with over 1,500 fibre links installed at satcoms sites around the world

ETL Systems, a global designer and manufacturer of custom build RF equipment for satellite communications, will be showcasing its latest RF technologies to the Middle East market at CABSAT 2017, taking place March 21-23 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Visitors to the ETL stand will be able to see ETL’s RF over fibre solutions, with over 1,500 fibre links installed at satcoms sites around the world. StingRay RF over fibre enables high quality conversion of RF signals over fibre for short and long distance transmissions. The range now includes modules to convert a range of frequencies including L-band, broadband, IF, 10MHz and GPS.

ETL’s 128 x 128 Vulcan Matrix, the 16 x 16 Victor Matrix, the Alto Amplifier and the Dextra Splitter will also be on display.

ETL’s presence at the show follows major contract wins in the region, including RF equipment for a major broadcaster’s IPTV project.

CEO Ian Hilditch and Sales Manager for the Middle East region, Mohamad Barada, will be among ETL representatives at the event to demonstrate the full range of ETL’s products and explain the benefits they can bring to teleports.

“We always look forward to CABSAT as we have numerous partners in the Middle East and hope to expand our footprint in the region even more,” said Ian Hilditch, CEO at ETL Systems. “Our products are produced to the highest specification and we look forward to showing delegates what can be achieved through the use of ETL products. We also look forward to meeting with both existing and future customers to discuss their individual RF needs and help find a solution that is designed to fit their exact specifications.”
