Eutelsat has announced the appointment of Sébastien Rouge as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and member of the Group’s Executive Committee, under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer Jean-François Fallacher. Rouge will officially assume the role on February 1, 2026.

Bringing over 30 years of international financial leadership, Rouge’s appointment underscores Eutelsat’s focus on strengthening financial resilience, operational excellence and long-term strategic growth. His extensive background spans global industrial and technology sectors, where he has consistently driven performance through a balance of execution and vision.

Rouge joins Eutelsat from Imerys, where he served as CFO and played a key role in enhancing the group’s financial performance while advancing its digital transformation initiatives. Before his tenure at Imerys, he was CFO at Soitec, a global leader in semiconductor materials. His earlier career includes a long association with the Alstom Group, where he held several senior finance positions, including Senior Vice President of Finance at Alstom Power. Following Alstom’s integration with General Electric, he took on executive roles within GE Power, serving as CEO of the GE-Alstom Nuclear Systems joint venture and CFO of Steam Power Systems.

A graduate of EDHEC Business School, Rouge is a French national. He succeeds Christophe Caudrelier, who will step down after three years as CFO. Caudrelier will remain with the company during the transition period to ensure a smooth handover of responsibilities, reflecting his continued support for Eutelsat’s leadership team and ongoing strategic initiatives.

Jean-François Fallacher, Chief Executive Officer of Eutelsat, commented: “Sébastien’s deep financial expertise and leadership across complex industrial organisations make him a valuable addition to Eutelsat’s management team. His stewardship will be key in supporting the Group’s strategic and operational roadmap, while ensuring strong financial performance across the business and delivering sustainable value for all stakeholders.

“We thank Christophe Caudrelier for his commitment and professionalism over the past three years. He played a key role in supporting Eutelsat through its telecom pivot and the merger with OneWeb, helping to strengthen the Group’s financial foundations during a period of significant transformation. We wish him continued success in future endeavours.”
