Dubai-based Hermes Datacomms Middle East has announced that it has been approved as a CommScope partner in Iraq. Hermes Datacomms’ local Iraqi/expat engineers and expat project managers in Iraq are now qualified by CommScope to design, install and maintain CommScope solutions.
Kevin Thorley, Hermes Datacomms Middle East CEO, said: “This is a significant development for our engineers and project managers in Iraq. The company can now offer proactive solutions that improve network performance, capacity and costs in Iraq and be the first to offer the latest technologies and innovative solutions as they emerge. Our engineers and project managers in Iraq have been trained and certified by CommScope Infrastructure Academy and we aim to roll this out worldwide”.
According to the release, Hermes Datacomms customers in Iraq can now access the benefits of the CommScope PartnerPro Network including warranty protection on CommScope certified solutions for a reported 20 years.
Hermes Datacomms has reportedly been operating within the Middle East for over 10 years. In April 2008, the Hermes Dubai office was established to answer the growing demand within the region, the company claims.
“Our aim is to ensure that all our Middle East customers are provided with in-depth, direct and extensive support, and a more dependable and secure service that not only keeps up with the growth in the region but in fact exceeds customers and industry expectations,” said Kevin Thorley, Hermes Datacomms Middle East, CEO.
