Spacecom, Israeli communication satellite provider and operator of the AMOS satellite fleet, has announced its first-time participation at CABSAT 2020 exhibition in Dubai, which is scheduled to take place from November 10-12.
Spacecom will showcase its satellite-based solutions such as e-Learning and e-Medicine, which promise to meet the demands of remote communities and digital villages.
CABSAT is focussed on the latest innovations in satellite communication, broadcast, media and the entire content industry. Following the Abraham Accord peace agreement, Spacecom aims to showcase its satellite services and satellite-based solutions at the exhibition. Based upon its newest and most advanced AMOS-17 satellite, the solutions and services serve a wider audience including MNOs, ISPs, Governments and NGOs in EMEA.
The company’s AMOS-17 satellite operates over EMEA, providing C-Band HTS, steerable Ka-Band HTS and regional Ku-Band Sub-Sahara Africa coverage. It enables the combination of broad regional beams and high throughput spot beams that maximise throughput and spectral efficiency. Moreover, it was designed specifically to meet Africa’s fast-growing communication and digital transformation demands.
Commenting on attending CABSAT 2020, Dan Zajicek, Spacecom’s CEO said: “We are truly excited to be able to be a part of this historical peace agreement between our countries and taking part in this significant industry event. Now is the perfect time to join a common industry platform and share new ideas, solutions, innovations, insights for the future, and re-connect with the full ecosystem. We see this as a great step towards future cooperation and growth opportunities. CABSAT is a popular event also for African companies and we look forward to the opportunity to meet and network with this strategic market and to making a change.”
Spacecom is also planning to attend CABSAT in May 2021 in Dubai, and networking on a personal level in a Covid-free environment.
