MBRSC and Atlantic Productions to provide Rashid Rover AR experience

Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) and Atlantic Productions have partnered on Rashid Rover: Moon Mission, a cutting-edge Web AR experience that gives the opportunity to join Rashid Rover on its journey to the moon – from the comfort of your own home or classroom.

Celebrating Emirates Lunar Mission, the first Arab Lunar mission, experience firsthand how the Rover will explore the moon. This interactive educational AR experience (available on both iPhone and Android phones) is designed to inspire curiosity about space, science, and technology in people of all ages. Access the experience in both English and Arabic on smartphones worldwide for free.

This cutting-edge Augmented Reality experience allows you to pilot the super accurate digital twin of the Rashid Rover around the moon’s surface at 1:1 scale to learn about its intrepid lunar expedition. Discover facts about the Rashid Rover, and how its mission will open doors to understanding the moon and enable future exploration. The highly detailed 3D models of the Rover and the moon’s surface are optimised to create a smooth Augmented Reality experience accessible through an internet browser. With accessibility a key element of educational content, this cross-platform experience is available to everyone without installing an app.
