Neo Space Group (NSG), a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company and Saudi Arabia’s provider of commercial space services, has announced a landmark partnership with Uzbekistan Airways to introduce cutting-edge in-flight connectivity (IFC) services aboard the airline’s upcoming Airbus A321neo fleet. This initiative marks a major step toward transforming air travel in Central Asia by enabling passengers to access high-speed internet throughout their flights.
Beginning in 2026, NSG will equip Uzbekistan Airways’ A321neo aircraft with its next-generation IFC solutions, delivering seamless connectivity across both regional and long-haul routes. Enabled by NSG’s partnership with SES’s Open Orbits multi-orbit satellite network, the service will support streaming, real-time messaging, and in-flight productivity—ushering in a new era of digital transformation for the airline and the region.
Philippe Carette, NSG’s Chief Operating Officer and President of NSG’s Satellite Communications Division, said: “Uzbekistan Airways is setting a new standard for in-flight connectivity in Central Asia, and we are proud to be their partner in this journey. NSG’s industry-leading satellite technology will enable passengers to enjoy seamless, high-speed internet, redefining how they stay connected in the air. This partnership underscores our commitment to delivering next-generation digital aviation solutions and expanding IFC capabilities in emerging markets.”
Shukhrat Khudaykulov, Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Airways added: “As Uzbekistan’s national carrier, we continuously strive to offer world-class experiences to our passengers. Partnering with NSG to introduce state-of-the-art in-flight connectivity is a major milestone, ensuring that our travellers can stay connected, productive, and entertained throughout their flights. This collaboration marks an important step in our commitment to innovation and enhancing passenger comfort. We believe that staying connected at 35,000 feet is no longer a luxury, but an essential part of the journey, and we are proud to bring this service to our valued passengers.”
The rollout of NSG’s IFC services on Uzbekistan Airways aligns with broader aviation and digital transformation goals in the region. As global demand for in-flight connectivity continues to grow, Uzbekistan Airways is positioning itself as a technology leader by integrating world-class digital services into its fleet.
The implementation is expected to begin in early 2026 with the first A321neo being Line-Fit delivered to offer high-speed IFC services, followed by further A321neos as part of the roll out schedule.
NSG’s advanced IFC solution combines Display Interactive’s Skywaves traffic management system with the seamless SkyFly passenger interface, powered by multi-orbit connectivity. Using the SES Open Orbits network, delivers high-speed low-latency internet. NSG also partners with top aerospace firms to offer flexible hardware solutions, enabling efficient IFC deployment.
