BringCom Inc., a supplier of communications technologies to Africa, announced that Olivier Seguin has joined the company to lead its Africa-Middle East commercial sales and business development efforts.
“Olivier is a proven executive who will help BringCom reach the next level of growth, especially in the fibre and IP markets,” said Fabrice Langreney, President and CEO of BringCom. “He has demonstrated ability to lead sales and business development efforts to achieve business success and technical excellence in the region.”
As Vice President for Africa-Middle East, Seguin will be based in France and responsible for managing all aspects of BringCom’s commercial sales and business development efforts throughout Africa and the Middle East. He will place particular emphasis on BringCom’s new Djibouti Teleport satellite business and increased development of fibre optic revenues, including overseeing the establishment and operation of internet POP’s (Point of Presence) that BringCom is planning throughout Africa.
Seguin brings over two decades of satellite and terrestrial communications industry experience to BringCom. Most recently, he was Director for Eastern and Southern Africa Sales at Telcom Italia Sparkle, a leading provider of satellite and terrestrial bandwidth and services to commercial and government customers worldwide. Previously, he served in roles of increasing management responsibility at Teleglobe/TATA Communications in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and as Business Manager for Africa with Teleglobe in Washington, D.C. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the Institut Chassagnes in Lyon, France.
