Es’hailSat showcases broadcast satellites for MENA region at AfricaCom

Es’hailSat is showcasing Es’hail-1, Es’hail-2 broadcast satellites and a wide range of services through the new state of the art teleport in Doha at the annual AfricaCom exhibition.

Es’hailSat, the Qatar-based satellite communications operator, is exhibiting at the annual AfricaCom exhibition in Cape Town international convention centre, the biggest and best tech event in Africa that gathers together senior decision-makers from the entire digital ecosystem.

Es’hailSat is showcasing Es’hail-1, Es’hail-2 broadcast satellites and a wide range of services to be delivered through the new state of the art teleport in Doha at AfricaCom which is being hosted from November 12 to 14.

Es’hail-2, a satellite with sophisticated anti-jamming capabilities located at 26° East hotspot position for TV broadcasting, provides high quality, premium DTH television content across the Middle East and North Africa.

Es’hailSat’s new teleport in Doha, provides customers with secure and independent satellite transmission. The facility supports satellite TT&C and capacity management together with a wide range of services such as uplink, downlink, multiplexing, encoding, playout and other value-added services.

The high-tech teleport will also provide back-up studios for TV channels and serve as a disaster recovery facility for customers.
