MEASAT wins APSCC 2019 Young Talent Award twice in a row

The Award aims at encouraging young staff members and publicly recognising their contribution to the AsiaPacific satellite and space community.

MEASAT Satellite Systems has announced that Vinothan Nadarajah, the company’s Assistant Manager, Business Development and Strategic Planning was selected as the winner of the 2019 Asia-Pacific Satellite Communications Council (APSCC) Young Talent Award.

MEASAT has won this award for the second year in a row. The award is part of the APSCC’s efforts to ensure a future for the satellite industry and to attract and retain young talent. It is presented to young staff members and publicly recognises their contribution to the AsiaPacific satellite and space community.

Nadarajah, with 11 years of experience in the satellite communications industry, was acknowledged at the organisation’s third Young Talent Award at the Intercontinental Hotel, in Bangkok, Thailand, as part of the APSCC’s 2019 Satellite Conference and Exhibition.

The award, presented by Gregg Daffner, President of APSCC, on November 21, recognised Nadarajah’s contribution and achievements in leading the initiatives of Malaysia’s first satellite-based consumer broadband service, which enabled thousands of unserved Malaysian to receive broadband connectivity for the very first time.
