OQ Technology has announced a strategic partnership with cloud-based hybrid connectivity provider Monogoto, using the CES technology show in Las Vegas as the platform for the reveal. The agreement brings OQ Technology’s Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite constellation into Monogoto’s hybrid connectivity ecosystem, expanding a platform that already integrates terrestrial networks and GEO satellite partnerships.
Under the collaboration, OQ’s LEO capabilities will complement Monogoto’s existing multi-network offering, creating what OQ Technology describes as one of the market’s most comprehensive multi-layer connectivity solutions. The combined platform enables seamless device connectivity across public and private cellular networks, Wi-Fi, GEO and LEO satellites through a single SIM, unified IP addressing and consistent application programming interfaces.
The expanded connectivity model is designed to simplify the deployment and management of devices operating in remote, mobile or intermittently connected environments, offering customers greater reliability and flexibility without the need to manage multiple connectivity providers or technologies.
Omar Qaise, Founder & CEO, OQ Technology, said: “OQ Technology’s mission is to extend cellular Internet of Things (IoT) and Direct-to-Device (D2D) beyond terrestrial boundaries. By partnering with Monogoto, our LEO constellation becomes part of a truly hybrid connectivity platform, bringing satellite IoT to enterprises and operators worldwide by leveraging our valuable spectrum and landing rights.”
Maor Efrati, Co-founder & CTO, Monogoto, added: “For the first time, LEO is joining our hybrid connectivity landscape. We believe LEO will drive a fundamental shift in global communications. Our mission is to do what we do best, lower the barriers to adoption and empower customers to explore and deploy LEO connectivity alongside their existing cellular, Wi-Fi and GEO satellite networks.”
Monogoto provides secure, programmable global connectivity for IoT, private LTE and 5G applications through a cloud-based, API-first platform built on a zero-trust architecture. Operating in more than 180 countries, the company supports use cases across sectors including financial technology, logistics, smart utilities, manufacturing and agriculture. Its investors include Telefonica, Singtel, Team8, Planven, TriVentures and Alter.
