Salam, a telecommunications provider in Saudi Arabia, has partnered with CDNetworks to enhance internet service quality and meet the growing digital demands in the Kingdom. The collaboration focuses on providing International IP Transit services, ensuring ultra-low latency and high-speed internet solutions for Saudi users.
The agreement comes at a time when Saudi Arabia is experiencing a rapid surge in demand for advanced digital services and content delivery. The Games Live Streaming market in the Kingdom is projected to grow by 6.36% between 2025 and 2027, reaching an estimated market volume of $141.4m by 2027. Additionally, a YouGov report indicates that 73% of Saudi gamers prefer smartphones for gaming.
The country’s Video Streaming (SVoD) sector is also on an upward trajectory, with an expected growth rate of 8.06% and a market volume projected to hit $250.8m by 2027. This increasing demand for high-quality and diverse internet services is fueling growth in the Saudi content delivery network (CDN) market, which is forecasted to generate $413.4m in revenue by 2030.
