Saudi Space Agency signs MoU with Egyptian Space Agency

Saudi Space Agency (SSA) and the Egyptian Space Agency inked a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in space activities for peaceful purposes, according to a report by Saudi Press Agency.

The signing ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Saudi Space Agency in Riyadh, where SSA CEO Dr Mohammed bin Saud Al-Tamimi and Egyptian Space Agency CEO Dr Sherif Sedky formalised the agreement.

This memorandum sets the stage for a structured cooperation framework in space activities, aiming to bolster shared interests in the peaceful utilisation of space. It further facilitates the exchange of information and technologies between the two agencies.

With a focus on research and development, the agreement aims to deepen collaboration in related fields, thereby contributing to significant advancements and fostering an expanded partnership between the two agencies in space and related technologies.
