ST Engineering iDirect has announced a strategic partnership with African satellite engineering and service provider Q-KON to introduce the Intuition Unbound platform across Africa, a move aimed at expanding access to advanced satellite ground connectivity and reducing barriers for service providers and enterprises entering the satellite communications market.
Under the collaboration, Q-KON will supply satellite capacity and teleport services from South Africa, while ST Engineering iDirect will deliver the Intuition Unbound infrastructure, designed to provide flexible, scalable and secure satellite ground connectivity. The partnership is expected to help create a more competitive market environment while enabling new service providers and businesses to develop differentiated services on top of the platform.
