The primary objective of this MoU is to harness the collective strengths of both entities to drive economic growth and diversification in the UAE. By exploring potential synergies in the aerospace and defence industries, the collaboration aims to unlock new avenues for advancement and prosperity.

Under the terms of the MoU, the UAE Space Agency will collaborate with the EDCC to identify industrial and business opportunities within the space sector that resonate with the capabilities and interests of EDCC members. This strategic partnership also seeks to amplify economic growth and diversification by capitalising on space-related opportunities for defence and allied industries.

Furthermore, both parties will join forces to promote education and skill development in defence and space-related technologies among local talents. This initiative aims to fuel innovation and bolster local capabilities in these pivotal sectors.

The MoU establishes a framework for the exchange of information and best practices between the defence and space sectors, with a focus on enhancing competitiveness and efficiency in areas such as procurement and technology development.

In addition, the collaboration will facilitate mutual support for participation in defence events, forums, and sponsorships. This concerted effort will provide a platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and showcasing the capabilities of local defence and space industry players.
