Yahsat signs MoU with Calidus Aerospace

The MoU signed between national leaders at IDEX 2023 is to build on Yahsat’s systems integration expertise across various platforms.

Yahsat has signed an agreement with Abu Dhabi-based Calidus Aerospace LLC, a provider of next-generation aeronautical and land defence systems, to equip their fleet of air and land vehicles with secure end-to-end connectivity solutions.

The agreement will drive mutual areas of collaboration focused on equipping Calidus’ fleet of air and land vehicles with Yahsat’s suite of end-to-end secure solutions across Information and Communications Technologies (ICT), communications-on-the-move (CoTM), beyond line of sight (BLoS), line of sight (LOS) and other satellite-enabled applications.

The MoU was formalised at a signing ceremony at IDEX 2023, the premier defence exhibition and conference in the Middle East, by Eisa Al Shamsi, General Manager at Yahsat Government Solutions (YGS) and Hamad Faris Al Mazrouei, General Manager of Calidus.
