Eutelsat’s OneWeb LEO services are now live and operational for commercial and business aviation customers.
The orders primarily include Gilat SkyEdge platforms, associated services, and solid-state power amplifiers.
Gilat expects its annual revenues from Stellar Blu to be between $100m and $150m beginning in 2025, driven by Stellar Blu’s robust backlog.
The Ka-band platform will combine the GEO and MEO satellite networks of SES, including NEO Space Group, AeroSat Link and Hughes Communications India.
Intelsat will use the technology to serve additional aircraft and expand managed services for mobile network operators.
The current plan is to see the first ViaSat-3 launched for service over the US early in 2021, and a European/MENA craft launching later in the same year.
