KNS will be at CommunicAsia to showcase the 10-ULV-Ka, its Ka-band communication system developed last year as part of its military-grade naval VSAT system.
This three-axis stabilised and anti-shock and vibration VSAT system was developed last year with the 10-ULV-Ka feature, and was successfully delivered to a military customer.
As a regular participant at the show, KNS will also feature two military SATCOM antenna systems: the 10-ULV-Ka and the M4MK2, both of which are key members of KNS’ new Supertack Tactical Satcoms’ family.
The 10-ULV-Ka has a 100cm diameter reflector, which secures the network sustainability with three-axis stabilisation, unlimited azimuth, high elevation range (-20˚ ~ +110˚) and ±35˚ of cross angle. It comes with the following ship motion specification; Roll : ±24˚ at 8-12 sec periods; Pitch : ±14˚ at 6-12 sec periods and Yaw : ±8˚ at 15-20 sec periods.
