Following the successful testing of China’s StarWin’s Electronically Steered Phased Array Antenna (ESA) terminal for Communications on the Move (COTM) on Avanti Communications’ high-speed HYLAS 4 Ka-band satellite, Africa can look forward to seamless broadband connectivity for government, military, and enterprise customers across the continent.
During testing, StarWin’s ESA terminal demonstrated the ability to ensure high-speed data and reliable communications while on the move. In addition, the ESA terminal’s compact size, lightweight design, and straightforward mounting process make it a versatile and practical solution for a wide range of applications that require mobility.
