Saudi Arabia’s Communications, Space, and Technology Commission (CST) has initiated a practical training programme for aerospace engineering students in collaboration with Boeing. This month-long programme aims to invest in national talent, provide hands-on experience in the space sector, and develop human capabilities in aerospace engineering and sciences.

The programme is designed to foster professional growth and skill development in space technologies, preparing students for the job market through involvement in various projects. It consists of two phases: a theoretical phase held at a Boeing facility in Texas, which includes NASA architectural design studies for lunar and Martian missions, and a practical phase in Alabama, where participants work on applied projects like the Carbon Dioxide Removal System for lunar and Martian applications.

This initiative is one of many training and educational programmes launched by the CST in partnership with local and international entities, leveraging diverse expertise. It aims to build capacity in the space sector and sciences, contributing to the Kingdom’s progress and positively influencing the future of Saudi Arabia’s upcoming generations.
