Al Neyadi is the second Emirati to travel into space, following on from Hazza Al Mansouri's eight-day stay on the ISS in September 2019.

Nasa has set a new launch date for the SpaceX rocket carrying Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi after the blast-off was postponed on February 27.
The mission will make the UAE the 11th country to send astronauts on a long-duration mission to the International Space Station.
MBRSC has announced that the first Arab long-duration astronaut mission is scheduled to launch at 11.07 AM UAE time on February 26, 2023.
