Gilat Satellite Networks has announced a significant achievement with the award of approximately 3m dollars for a multi-year project by a national police force.
The national police force opted for Gilat’s cutting-edge solution, leveraging the SkyEdge platform and a suite of services that prioritise reliable and secure connectivity. Gilat emerged as the preferred choice due to its capacity to meet stringent security requirements and address longstanding communication challenges.
The SkyEdge platform, known for its field-proven and feature-rich capabilities, comprises a high-performance hub system, a range of mission-specific VSATs (Very Small Aperture Terminals), and an advanced network management system. Gilat will implement a comprehensive solution based on the SkyEdge platform and a suite of services to ensure operators receive dependable and secure connectivity.
